This is really nice! What a clever, but oh so obvious, idea. Love it.

Anyone know of an equivalent for MacOS?

Obviously Macs are missing some of the features this uses, but I wander if there any alternatives that could enable this sort of command on a Mac. I assume the lack of native Docker or equivalent is probably indicative of no.



This requires Linux specific features. The only way you are getting this on Macos is the same way you are getting "Docker on Macos" - by running a virtualised Linux machine.


I haven’t run this command but (editing as this was an incomplete thought accidentally posted) minikube and brew's version of docker work for me as a complete docker environment that works on my (intel) Mac.
