A bit confused about the "answer" for #85 (the garden with the 1m path)

We have two right triangles with sides 54m and 40m, so the area of both combined is 54X40.

The area of the rectangle they're in is 55X40.

So the path between them should be 40m?

Where is 66 2/3 m coming from?

edit: never mind, the distance between the two sides of the path is 1m, but the distance from the corner of the triangle to the corner of the garden is greater than 1m



The width of the path is 1m, i.e the height of the parallelogram. The side of the parallelogram is not provided. So, the side of the triangle is not 54m.
