i386 will not dies in Ubuntu because it is not dead in Debian. Once it is dead in Debian, it'll die in Ubuntu too.

Why do you think that? They decided to drop it before, as pointed out in the article:

I mean, my point was is that they are free to drop earlier than Debian will, but if Debian drop they will not maintain it by themselves.
