"Blumenthal is the editor of The Grayzone website, which is known for its apologetic coverage of authoritarian regimes such as the Chinese, Russian, Syrian, and Venezuelan governments, including its denial of chemical attacks by the Syrian government and of human rights abuses against Uyghurs."
“Apologetic coverage of authoritarian …” good lord. Just dripping with partisan hate. I suspect that political opponents of the article’s author do not agree. Orwellian to think this person likely chides others for bias. Really reads like any other Wikipedia page of a person that goes against the radical progressive ideology that infects Wikipedia. It’s really sad that Wikipedia can’t observe the current trust in mainstream media and recognize an overtly partisan site will eventually lose all credibility. Any of these hit piece articles can be better summed up “the hive mind that controls Wikipedia disagrees politically with this person so they are literally a Nazi”. Reading any of those talk pages is an exercise in suppressing nausea.
Thank you, I couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s so irritating when I see commenters on HN immediately reach for Wikipedia for any controversial personality/group/topic. How is that still a thing?

Charming.
