Another option is to do this outside the browser using a forward proxy. The very reason that using Nitter becomes necessary is because of the annoynaces and hazards introduced by the browser that runs remote, obfuscated code (Javascript) automatically and indiscriminantly, and is controlled by an advertising-suported entity. Thus using an extension/add-on to this program as a "solution" is not something that occurs to me as a wise choice. The advertising-sponsored browser is itself part of the problem. Whereas the proxy is a much, much, much smaller program, not supported by advertising, that can be quickly and easily compiled, edited and re-compiled by the user.
