But similar initiatives will appear everywhere in the end once they land somewhere (outside openly totalitarian regimes where they are already in place, like China). They have to be stopped, but I am afraid they will happen in the end, everywhere; once they happen in some western countries, others will have the blueprint to copy to theirs. And citizens everywhere are being lied to; most non tech (but also tech) people think this is a good thing. Friends in the US, UK and AU are applauding this type of stuff coming to their countries. Because of the children.

Unfortunately no one takes it serious enough to take massive ad and tv campaigns to member states and educate the public that this is simply bad for everyone and doesn’t help the children.
