Then surely you will agree that 20-30x more Palestinians dying than Israelis is worse and needs to stop. Russia has killed less civilians in 2 years than Israel did in 3 months, so one might call this an "economic sanction" just like those that were enacted back in 2021 against Russia.
I'm not happy with either side in this conflict and have not been for decades. I will not agree that any civilian death is better or worse than another. I refuse to use body counts at all in comparisons.
When Hamas places their military infrastructure in/under hospitals and schools I place the blame for civilian deaths near those places on Hamas. That does not excuse the other civilian deaths that Israel has needlessly caused though.
You mean the rockets that are intercepted? Which civilians have been hit, compared to the tens of thousands in Gaza in a few weeks? Those interceptor rockets cost Israel (and the US) much more than it costs Hamas to manufacture.
That's economic warfare. It's like a DDoS attack. Do something cheap that costs your enemy a lot.
The goal is to make occupation too expensive to sustain.
