This website is missing Wasabi [0], which has free egress. (Not necessarily endorsing, just noticed.)

[0]: https://wasabi.com

They have free egress up to your data storage usage.

So if you use 1TB storage but 2TB egress , it will not be free anymore.

Right; Backblaze has similar pricing as you can see on the table.

Backblaze let's you choose to pay more to exceed said cap, Wasabi's Pricing FAQ says customers that exceed the amount they are storing "are not a good fit" and that they reserve the right to rate-limit or cancel the account entirely.

heavily recommending against wasabi, they increased prices recently and announced this via their newsletter, the one with an unsubscribe button, and then blamed me for unsubscribing (and never refunded the charge). highly unprofessional and a lack of understanding of the GDPR for someone who is supposed to hold all your data.

Do a credit card charge back and unsubscribe from the service (if they let you unsubscribe, lol)... If they don't let you unsubscribe, report your card stolen (I do that once in a while).

It wasn't worth fighting them over. And posting once on HN about the experience does a lot more to incentivize them to be better anyway.
