Cloud Egress Costs
Interesting that Google started on a system cobbled together from cheap servers, creating reliability out of unreliable components and against the Sun’s of the time. Now all the cloud vendors are effectively Sun.

Google was/is an infrastructure company (though one lens, of course it is also an ad company). Just like Amazon is a warehouse company.
