Are there any UPS that output ATX directly?

I'm not seeing much of a point powering a small server from battery with AC if it all gets converted to DC anyway. Laptops got it right.

I doubt this one in any of the patent pools (OIN) but maybe they wouldn't sue anyhow?


I'm feeling a mix of outrage, disbelief, and "what was I expecting" right now.
