I have more USB hubs than I can count.

You still only have one point of failure for the entire device that can't be easily fixed.

And most midi controllers work fine via USB or Bluetooth

I wish it had two USB C ports, one on the bottom and one on the side. Even if they only really were one internally at least you’d have more mounting options.
