Safari is buttery smooth and runs cool. I hate to use Firefox / Chrome just for ublock origin's reasons.

If you use Kagi's Orion (which is Webkit, like Safari), you can install either Firefox or Chrome extensions from their respective stores

Less than perfect, but could start with a PiHole or other blocking DNS service.
