Most recently I’ve built a fullstack consumer webapp, singlepaynews.com. This was a solo project so while I technically did everything from devops to PM the majority of the work falls under a “fullstack web developer” or “system administrator” title. Today I’ll be adding to the AWS infrastructure in anticipation of high load from a marketing idea we’re pursuing at the DNC.

The other part of my resume that’s easy to check is dealerchimp.com; it’s not impressive as a website, the point of looking at it is proof that I actually know how to use scikit-learn / tensor flow and built a supervised classifier that runs in production. That said the vast majority of data questions asked in business are best answered with linear regression, and imo OpenRefine is the next Excel.

Because of my EE degree and sheer volume of internships, I can fill entry level electrical/embedded engineering roles competently (e.g. I can use oscilloscopes and program SMT32s / Arduino's), but I wouldn’t want to be in an individual contributor position outside of ML/web development.

I also occasionally apply for copywriting / learning&content roles. My teaching experience is much deeper than typical for the years; I taught at a lower-band state school and ended up with significant responsibility that included being the author of four novel courses at CWU, as well as writing original coursework at the John’s Hopkins CTY summer program and an online master’s program at SeattleU.

I’m currently working as a patent examiner at the USPTO from Seattle, and my best availability is after 2pm PST. My family all live in Seattle now, so after being disconnected from them thru my early career I'd rather go to an office in the Seattle area than relocate, but if you'll pay my lease's early termination fee (~$4000) I'll move anywhere in the greater Seattle Area.
