Creating a notebook interface for Tailwind / shadcnUI

Hey guys,

As designers and developers, we find the cost of tooling is extremely high and prevent us to iterate: Figma-to-code wall of China, impossible tech stacks, JS dependency hell, project setups more complex than a SpaceX launch.

We've been playing with AI since the GPT3 beta, and found out over the years the biggest obstacle between us and autonomous AI developers is not LLM science, it's this suite of software-based hurdles.

So we're launching Layouts, a notebook-like editor for building interfaces. Just open, describe your interface in a simple syntax, get a production-grade NextJS project repository. Zero setup, zero config, zero headaches.

It's on ProductHunt today: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/layouts-dev

We'd love to get your feedback!

Why NextJS? I'm genuinely curious? Would it not be better if the output was backend agnostic?

I guess it's more because we needed to start somewhere. Today we output static HTML and code for NextJS and create-react-app. Pretty easy to add more output formats.

Thanks
