The current version is amazingly relaxing. If you have an XBox Series X or S and GamePass I highly recommend giving it a try. My favorite part was flying over parts of the World I’ve previously lived in or visited. There were definitely some glitches, but for the most part it’s an absolutely stunning experience.

Good? I've got gigabit symmetrical and I'd much rather stream just what I need rather than have to dedicate an entire hard drive to storing a planet I won't see 99% of. And if it replaces some of the god-awful updating procedures from 2020 then all the better.

Great! In other words, it downloads content at the same speed it would be during an install.

Obviously it's good for it to saturate your connection when it's loading the landscape for the first time.

And obviously this rate isn't maintained throughout your flight. Once the visible environment has loaded, it only needs to download new data at the speed of your airplane.

And I certainly assume there's heavy caching involved, for when you turn your plane around. :)
