> You are 101.38% through A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965).

well, that's a percentage!

Fun!

Amusing little occurrence: playing around with different dates and movies, I got one where the still (from Love Actually) was of a different movie the characters were watching in-universe (Titanic).

I love this.

I'll admit that it wasn't immediately obvious what it was, but after filling in the form and picking a movie I was very familiar with, it really gave an idea of 'where in the movie' I currently am.

Kudos to whoever created it. Very creative and interesting.

I'm at a very explosive part of Akira in my life. Feels right.

I got Mark Watney putting on a space suit

I've just arrived at the walk-off scene in Zoolander and have a still frame of Derek Zoolander's crotch to measure my life's progress.

Sounds about right.

what? I get the memento mori pun but I’m rather confused by whats going on on the website

By entering your birthdate and your expected life span, it projects how far you are into your life by display an image from a movie at that same point as you are at your life today. So if you are 50% through your life, it will pick the 50% point of a movie. Ideally its a movie you know very well otherwise it won't make as much sense.

Is the credits section included in the frames? I think it would be fitting, but a bit hard to discern.

It's very simple, but not obvious at first.

You enter the age you expect to live, your birthdate, and a movie (pick something you are very familiar with). Upon submission, a single frame of the movie is shown representing today in your life if the runtime of the movie spanned your entire predicted lifespan.

Oh, I thought it was about Memento the movie https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Memento_(film)

I thought it was about Memento the short story

No "The Matrix" no deal. This is a great way to harvest birthdays.

I know them all. I'll sell you the list.

I fuzzed mine a little, but the end result is only off by a few seconds.
