I'm so pleased that the merger is scuttled. Kroger has already acquired the majority of the supermarkets in my area. I was nervous that it would become almost impossible to avoid shopping at a Kroger-owned business if Albertsons joined them.

Thankfully some good news. That merger was terrible for everyone except the shareholders.

Glad the FTC was able to get that in before the new admin took over.

Amazing how quickly the knives come out when these things fall through.

Perhaps an alternative way for the C-suite to fund their bonuses since they no longer get a golden parachute?
