Most ISP's in Canada and Australia don't allow you to self host. Not from home. I've set up a system to do it, and then run into a wall when my isp won't let port 80 connections.
You can Ngrok (or the likes) but honestly these cost as much or more than hosting on Fly.io or something.

I can't speak for Canada, but you have to go well out of your way to find an Australian ISP where this is actually an issue. And even then, they're almost all on the same physical infrastucture (NBN) so you just go and choose a different one.
