The ruling to invalidate Elon Musk’s pay package was a huge mistake. It removed the trust business had in Delaware. Unfortunately the ruling came with some very politically charged justifications and the shareholders vote to bring back the pay package made this all look even worse. I suspect this is the start of many companies leaving Delaware.
