You don't need Caddy then, use --certfile and --keyfile

Caddy is still useful as a reverse proxy. The https is just a nice benefit

Somebody specifically asked about adding HTTPS to their jupyter notebook, and you are pointing out a solution that is not needed for jupyter, will show certificate errors, and is "useful" only in ways you only hint at. Thank you for your comments.
