Great engineering, but a little bit brogrammer in the presentation.

I found it whimsical and funny, I don't see it as brogramming. It was also a very good pull request, so this further decreases my brogramming expectation.

As long as the claims he is making are true, I wouldn't consider it brogrammery at all (just a bit fun/Internetty).

It's when unsubstantiated claims are being taken as gospel does brogramming get in the way. HEROKU AND ORM ALL THE THINGS~!!!! WHAAAAAT

Well, the project is called "dablooms".

Edit: For comparison, here's a pull request he made to libgit2. https://github.com/libgit2/libgit2/pull/856

It was only slightly obnoxious, which I prefer to dry, soulless presentations.

"Hey you piece of shit did you break the filtering?" made me lol so I forgive him :P

I refrained from audible laughter until:

"Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but I rewrote your bloom hashes, so merge me, maybe?"

Fun times were had by all.

I think the sparkles make it just a little too effeminate for "brogrammer".

broniegrammer?

It's called having a personality. It's not necessarily a bad thing.

Unfortunately, it seems a little difficult to avoid the brogrammers these days. Just another thing to get used to, I suppose.
