Dramatically accelerates my boot times, easy to configure, and easy to use. The only problem I've ever had is when a daemon doesn't include a systemd unit file, and I imagine official migration will include resolving all the remaining cases of that.

systemd supports standard init scripts as well, allowing an incremental migration.

In most cases the needed file is so simple that it's an easy patch to send to the author or package maintainer.
