I rigged up a Mac Shortcut with the Extract Text from Screenshot feature so if I see someone visit a URL or display an error message, I can copy the text from the shared screen instead of asking them to paste it into the chat.
Didn’t think of this, actually makes sense! Though I feel like if it’s that kind of meeting, the presenter would be fine allowing screen caps. And if they’re not, it’s more effort for them to copy and paste into chat, you still get the URL/message in the end. I still don’t get why people are enraged about this.
