I'm glad you've explained that because I genuinely thought it was being eaten raw. I guess it's more like they eat the _equivalent_ of 1kg of uncooked rice.


The grandparent poster used a strange way to word it - you dont normally call it uncooked rice in this context! It's like saying people eat 1kg of raw flour when they're talking about bread consumption.
