AMRS-X was originally designed as a headset-free immersion system that could simulate food, haptics, and lifelike visuals for public use. But despite its vision, I found many design elements were flawed or impossible with current tech — like mid-air matter generation and full physical realism. I’m sharing the full concept here not to promote it, but as a case study of how far speculative systems can go before hitting scientific or safety limits. I hope this can spark future discussion around what’s actually possible in projection tech, edible matter systems, and immersive AI environments — and what new approaches we might explore to achieve those goals.
