Pascal isn't dead. At least here in Brazil it's widespread. I've heard in Russia and China too.
Freepascal [1] is up and running, targeting a lot of platforms: x86-16, x86-32, AMD64, RISC-V (32/64), ARM, AArch64, AVR, JVM, Javascript...
... and operating systems: Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS, web and others.
I don't know an easier way to build multiplatform desktop applications other then Freepascal/Lazarus. I mean, real desktop apps, not that Electron bullsh*.
