I agree. Russia's perhaps the only country the USA would have serious reservations about going into. Maybe if it was some unknown defector or something .. but Snowden? My god, I can't even imagine what would happen.

China would probably be the only credible alternative, but the govt there doesn't really have the right attitude to give someone like Snowden asylum.
