I miss uni and all the lecturers who have to have things just so :) I also would have loved to have had a course like this when I was at uni. I might have paid more attention in the systems course :(

UC Davis is pro portable *nix (usually C code) instead of any particular bias(es). I wished the ugrad OS course used plan 9 instead of minix though.
