I love watching conference videos. Often it gives me the ability to peek into a new technology or topic i wasn't able to look into before or didn't even know existed. Conference videos are my preferred way of keeping up with stuff.

It seems, though, that there are plenty of resources for technical topics, but less so for other topics, like, say, gardening, home construction, politics or just anything else.

Are there conferences like this? (like: "this is what i worked on the last year/this is how i solved this problem"). Anything would to, really. I just want to learn a little bit more outside my bubble.
