Far more chance of having options with a cabin and some land to cultivate deep in the woods, than a bitcoin account somewhere on the internet that thanks to Mad Max no longer actually exists - well technically exists but no one gives a shit about data centres any more...
it's likely we'll look back on this time and realize the great climate change migration had already begun. it's a fantasy that you can isolate yourself from these massive changes by hiding out in a cabin in the woods.
Obviously I should have given a bit more information about the actions I am taking, as many wrong assumptions have been made. First off, I used to be an electronic repair tech, I hold several diplomas, an amature radio licence and have been using computers since the TI-99 4a came out. I consider myself an environmentalist, and now im trying to be a farmer who follows the pricipals laid out in the permaculture movement. My dream is to create enough abundance that I can feed myself, my family and my community, profit is not my ultimate goal. That being said, Im sick of virtue signaling people that arrogantly think that they can unite the world under them to change the climate back to the way it was. I'm talking to all you 'Gretas" out there!! Will you wear a "Make the Climate Great Again hat"? Are you really that naive? I dont cut down a tree needlessly but I do have and use a wood stove, I also have solar panels. I eat meat, and it hurts me everytime I slaughter one of the animals I raised, but I do it for my own sustenance and to conform to my regenerative farming beliefs. Putting oil back in the ground is a thousand times harder than toothpaste back in the tube. Finally, I am pro migration, and just because I am preparing for the future instead of trying to prevent it doesnt make me greedy, selfish or racist.
