Silicon Valley once epicenter of disrupting status quo become status quo itself (bizjournals.com)

I mean, you aren't doing a very good job of disrupting if you are still disrupting the same status quo as when you started 50 years on.

I think this is a pretty inevitable outcome. You either die or live long enough to disrupt the status quo out of existence and become the villain.

I'm not really defending FAANG here. I pretty much despise every single one of those companies, maybe somewhat except Amazon. Just saying this progression makes sense to me.

Kinda curious why you despise the other ones except Amazon? I understand why folks can despise all but Netflix.

Yeah actually, I have no major issue with Netflix either.

I think amazon makes a vast majority fair and square. They were super innovative on the AWS side and earned that market share and I think they also just outcompeted on merit on the physical goods marketplace side.

I've always hated Apple but that's just a total opinion, not really based on anything specific but I respect that at least they sell products people want(ed).

The other's deserve the hate they get full stop IMO. But to be sure this is all just my subjective opinion.
