I usually have them disabled too, yeah. I think with modern cursor devices they become redundant— you don't need a UI element to move around the document with the mouse/trackpad, because the mouse/trackpad usually has built-in scrolling with a wheel or gesture. I can see how in the past they were a necessary element though.


They're useful for at least knowing what IS scrollable and how much more distance there is left to scroll.
